About

Hello,

My name is Leah and I am The Girl Who Writes.

At 27 years old my life has been a roller coaster of success and failures, hard times and good times, uphill battles and summit celebrations and it has all made me who I am today.

I started this blog in the midst of my battle with Depression, to not only share my thoughts and experiences but to create conversations and encourage, support, inspire and empower you as I write.

With blog posts every week this is your new home for recipes, reflection, encouragement, support, laughter and love.

There is still mountain of things I want to experience in my life and I hope you stay for the journey.

Please share your thoughts with me and I will do my best to keep you coming back for more.

Thanks for stopping by,

  1. Hi Leah aka The Girl Who Writes,

I’m blown away by the talent that you have Leah, the articles you write are so profound and have an authentic depth to them, to which so many can relate. I would love for you to be a contributor to my project. I’m 27, been through “hell”, high & low – and Imm still here fighting. I just graduated from my PhD, financially broke, but so ambitious to make a real change to the world we live in. The perfect cliche! But a young woman determined to make her dreams, flourish into reality.

I’m not sure what you are doing now – but I want you at some point to come to an work alongside me to build the dream I have of creating a brand that provides practical solution to inspire and empower, to nurture and stimulate mental recovery and alternatively be a bedrock that helps prevent people ever reach critical stage of mental health issues at all. I’m just putting my request out there – and have the belief that one day you will & it will come to pass. As you are so so so talented, it almost to good to be true that I have found someone I believe encompasses the spirit of the brand is wish to nurture.

In the meantime, I have an upcoming event the Artful Mind project, I would love to come to – if so possible read one of your articles to share with the wider audience. I am mindful of your time and effort, whilst right now I cannot pay you. I can offer your voice to be heard to a wide audience. I would love to sit down and talk with you, buy you a coffee. Please do response when you have the time.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Best Wishes,
    Julia
